Best, best! The best! Highly recommended if you like to try the original pasta” la Genovese", is a slow-cooked onion and meat sauce associated with the city of Naples. It was the best pasta i ever had! The owner and staff also so friendly and polite . Definitely come back again

One of our favorite restaurants in Naples Centro Storico. The owner is such a nice guy. We visited this place many times and it never disappointed. Definitely the signature dish here is the Braciola Ragú (as on the picture). This is slowly cooked meat wrap with cheese and pine nuts in “tomato sauce” which is a heavenly sauce. The meat melts in your mouth, as it is cooked for 24h!!! 😋👍 Probably the best thing you can buy for €10 in the whole world! 😄- Wait time

the restaurant was great! exactly what you expect from an italian osteria. the white house wine was a great paring for the delicious food we had. very easy, nothing to fancy but right what we wanted. very down to earth. lovely guys and even when it was in a very touristic area, it didn’t give that vibe.

Top place. The owner guided is trough the menu and the result was amazing. We had their famous pasta with octopus and pasta with seafood. We're foodies and this exceeded our expectations by a lot.

Highly recommended! The staff was very kind and friendly. The location is also great and easy to find. We ordered 4 dishes and all 4 were fantastic! Especially the meatball! It was so flavorful! We will definitely come back again!

OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE: first, the people that work at the restaurant are amazing, friendly people. They clearly value their customers and their product. This was the highlight of our trip to Naples. The owner comes out and takes the orders and he will serve most of the food. The other staff are very friendly and helpful. The owner and his team also come around and talk with customers and laugh with them. Awesome!! The food is amazing. We had pasta, meatballs, and calamari and everything was AMAZING. The best meatballs I have had in my life (and my grandmother is from Sicily). The bread was very fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is very cozy. The drinks (Aperolspritz) were super good. The food was very tasty and the serving size was ample. I could just imagine the cook making it in the kitchen with love and care.
Everything felt and tested authentic and homemade, but we were disappointed when the cheese desert came. It was served in a har at room temperature and tasted like a supermarket desert, not at all in line with the rest of the meal.
Wish we had just chosen a party from their sister restaurant next door but we weren't given the option.
Skip the desert and stick with the main dishes.

We just had one of the best meals and experiences that we have ever had in Italy. The food was amazing. The owner took the time to share about the dishes, highlighting his favorites, and neighboring hometown guests/regulars were very friendly and gave advice too. Would highly recommend and regret we stopped here on our last night in Naples, otherwise we would visit again tomorrow!

Osteria Ippolito is situated in the old, narrow streets of the spacca Napoli district. It distinguishes itself from the many other eateries with its genuine typical down to earth comforting cuisine, just like ''la Nonna'' made. Taken there by cousins who lived in Napoli for years. Our palates were not disappointed.
